We’ve just received confirmation from Dying Light’s UK publishing PR team that a demo will indeed be coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Demos are a rare thing nowadays, especially so many months after a game is already out. But a demo for Dying Light is a very smart move from Techland and Warner Bros. Immerse Virtual Reality Headset Review – Can VR work on phones?
It’s taking the Oculus Rift so long to get to market, the knock off products are hitting the shelves before the number one contender for a Virtual Reality-led future even has a solid RRP. Given the buzz about VR though, we’re eager to try kit we can.
To be fair, this isn’t quite a competitor to the like of the Oculus Rift or Sony’s Project Morpheus. Instead, the Immerse Virtual Reality headset is designed for your smart phone. So you won’t need an expensive PC rig or console to use it. You may have heard of this tech before with Google Cardboard, which placed phone handsets into a box with some lenses to replicate 3D imagery via apps that show two images, much in the same way the Oculus works. The upcoming launch of the Rockstar Editor for PS4 and Xbox One as the next update to Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online means the next Rockstar Editor Contest will be the first one with entries across all three platforms – so the creative competition will be fiercer than ever. Stay tuned for info about that contest and forthcoming update.” Continue reading GTA V getting video editor on PS4 and Xbox One in next update

Gauntlet: Slayer Edition Review – Too old school?
The dungeon crawler video game genre really does owe it all to 1985’s Gauntlet. The top down multiplayer title has been copied ever since with similar titles in the action/RPG genre, most notably the new genre king, Diablo III, which has built upon Gauntlet’s sturdy foundations.
So yes, if you’re a retro fan or recently found yourself absorbed by the world of Diablo III on PC or consoles, there’s certainly fun to be had with this PS4 update of the recent PC remake. The graphics are slightly shinier than the PC version and there are new items to unlock, but realistically, there’s no reason to double dip unless your mates never wanted to play on PC. Limited Edition Star Wars Darth Vader PS4 bundles coming in November
“The Force is strong with this one.” Or is it? I really can’t decide if the new Darth Vader flavoured PS4 console looks great or tacky. The new controller and its effort to incorporate ol smokey’s suit buttons is seriously hard to look at though (see below). There’s more than a paint job though, Star Wars fans. Let’s take a look at what else is bundled with the new PS4. Continue reading Limited Edition Star Wars Darth Vader PS4 bundles coming in November

Big Hero 6 are coming to Kingdom Hearts III
The new generation of Disney films are continuing their march into the world of Kingdom Hearts III. We’ve previously had confirmation the world of Tangled will be visited by Sora, Donald and Goofy, but here’s something to cheer us up before those bastards from Frozen get involved – Big Hero 6.
Big Hero 6 was a great success at the cinemas. Set in the fantastically imagined San Fransokyo, the story saw a young boy inventor become a super hero by creating a suit of armour. He also made a suit for the ever lovable Baymax, a white humanoid shaped blog, amusingly squeezed into his own power-armour. Together they teamed up with a series of fellow super hero wannabes to take on one of your typical business tyrants. Continue reading Big Hero 6 are coming to Kingdom Hearts III
PS4 firmware update 3.0 contents leaked?
It’s been a while since any new features have been added via a firmware update to the PS4, but that could all be set to change with the arrival of 3.0 if a leaked report from Japanese testers turns out to be true.
One of the main highlights (which has been on the cards since launch) is the ability to broadcast gameplay to YouTube, which will be great news for gamers who don’t fancy using Twitch. Community groups can be formed to chat or join parties, which could be a convenient way to sort out a raiding party from people outside of your friends list in Destiny -a great alternative to having to set it up on Bungie’s forums first (or Bungie, could just add some goddamn matchmaking to their game!). Cyberpunk 2077 getting priority over Witcher IV
Chances are you’re still enjoying The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, but you may want to take your time with it a bit. After the work on the upcoming expansion DLC is completed, CD Projekt Red are going to give the series a rest to work on other projects. Given the quote below from September’s issue of Game Informer Magazine, it seems highly likely they’re going to throw their weight behind Cyberpunk 2077, a game originally announced back in 2013.
