How Disney Princesses would look in Fallout 4’s world

Fallout 4 is set to rampage though our lives this week, but the pop culture invasion is already well under way. Digital artist, Peter Slavik (aka Petarsaur) has turned his talents to giving iconic Disney Princesses a Fallout-style makeover.

We most certainly approve and imagine the modding community will be having a crack at bringing them to the game over the next few months. Take a look at some more images below and be sure to check out his full collection over at Deviant Art. Continue reading How Disney Princesses would look in Fallout 4’s world

Expect trouble at launch for these remaining 2015 games

It’s that time of year where developers and publishers push themselves to breaking point in order to meet the all-important Christmas shopping release window. Frankly, it’s a pattern that crippled many of last year’s biggest games.

We’d love to think that lessons have been learned, but with another dementedly-packed season lying just ahead, it’s not hard to predict that some of the year’s biggest remaining games are going to have some serious issues at launch. Games are expensive, so preorder wisely. Continue reading Expect trouble at launch for these remaining 2015 games

Are Fallout 4 and Witcher III a turning point for Season Passes?

Season Passes have become the scourge of games in recent years. We’re not opposed to additional content for games, far from it. But when the cost of a Season Pass matches that of a full game, our alarm bells start to ring. What’s worse, so many of these passes offer a paltry amount of content that simply doesn’t justify the price.

Consider that Season Passes often stick to their high price long after the main game can be bought for a fraction of the original cost a few months after release and the farce becomes even more laughable. Continue reading Are Fallout 4 and Witcher III a turning point for Season Passes?

Fallout 4 gets a new Strength infomercial

Those classic retro infomercials are back folks. This looks like one of the tutorial videos you’ll be seeing in Fallout 4 come November. In the game, you’ll be upgrading each of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats. S stands for strength and this handy video tells you why you’ll want to upgrade it if you’re going to survive in the wastelands.

Speaking of Fallout 4, be sure to check out today’s feature article: Are Fallout 4 and Witcher III a turning point for Season Passes? The new trailer can be found below. Continue reading Fallout 4 gets a new Strength infomercial
