The good times keep on coming with the PS4 beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Over the weekend, Treyarch opened it up for everyone, not just preorder customers and added new modes and specialists. It was supposed to end last night, but don’t delete it just yet as you’ll be able to play for that little bit longer.
The beta will now run until 6am tomorrow morning in the UK, which is plenty of time to get stuck in and see if you fancy looking for a preorder for the game’s November launch. From what I’ve played, it’s shaping up very well and continues the series’ evolution in the movement and traversal department. Wall running while nailing someone with an explosive arrow is something every shooter fan should try at least once. It’s a shame the new special abilities take so damn long to charge up though – especially when you specialise in being shot in the back.
It’s not just the multiplayer that has us excited this year though. The campaign is looking pretty good too and the inclusion of co-op has raised our hopes considerably.
