Our prayers were answered recently, when Capcom finally announced that Resident Evil 2 would be getting the remake treatment. Oh, how we celebrated the good times. So what next for the series? Surely Resident Evil 7? Nope, step forward Resident Evil Umbrella Corp, a competitive online shooter for PS4 and PC.
Can’t saw I saw that coming. The Resi series doesn’t have the best track record for spinoffs, especially the Online series. But the co-op modes in Revelations 2 were fun, so we’ll give this one the benefit of the doubt for now. The game will be released at a budget price of £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99. There’s even a trailer for you to take a look at and see for yourself. Continue reading Resident Evil Umbrella Corp coming to PS4 and PC in 2016 →

Finished Bloodborne? Well, if somehow you’ve managed to master those Chalice Dungeons and struggle through ‘the choice’ at the game’s finale, you may be thirsty for more. More crushing defeat and agonising, torturous cruelty that only From Software are capable of inflicting. The new trailer was shown today during Sony’s presser at the Tokyo Game Show. We know it’s coming November 24th, and will be priced £11.99. Continue reading Bloodborne: The Old Hunters DLC trailer →

Getting up early tomorrow morning (September 15th)? Well, while you’re having breakfast, you should watch Sony’s press conference live from the Tokyo Game Show. We promise it’ll be better than breakfast TV. I mean, how could it not be?
The show starts at 8am and while we expect most of it to be in Japanese, this stream will be subtitled. We received an early rundown of the PS4 and PS Vita games that will be showcased at the expo earlier this month, so we expect some of them to take up some stage time. We’re hoping for a few surprise reveals and hopefully some more footage on The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2 too. Continue reading Watch Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference here →

The Tokyo Game Show is a few short weeks away now and we’ve received word of the titles Sony will be showcasing at the Japanese expo during September 17th-20th. These are mainly Sony titles, but there are a few third-party appearances from the likes of Capcom , Konami, Square Enix, Bandai Namco and Atlus.
Expect a few surprises during the event too. We’re hoping Gravity Rush 2 shows some signs of life at least. The Vita lineup is predictably sparse at the moment and it’s more likely that game will make it to PS4 at this stage. Sony’s on-stage presentation will take place a few days earlier on the 15th and we’ll provide updates on the latest news from Tokyo. Continue reading Sony’s Tokyo Game Show 2015 lineup revealed →
