Sony have just officially announced that Project Morpheus has been rebranded as PlayStation VR. The news broke live on-stage during Sony’s press conference at Tokyo Game show.

A few demos were briefly shown including Rigs, a new shooter from the Killzone developers. A party game showed a man avoiding projectiles fired by other players in local multiplayer. Sadly, no clear indication of a release date or pricing were discussed. We’re presuming it’s bloody ages off.
