This month’s selection for the PlayStation + Instant Game Collection has just been announced. We have to say, we’re a little disappointed that they don’t match the ‘leaked’ ones from a German site a few days ago. Another month goes by where I don’t get a free copy of Knack. That’s probably for the best though, as there are some decent titles to choose from this month, along with a few that you may not have heard of before.
Here’s what’s coming on May 6th with our review hyperlinked in where applicable:
- Ether One (PS4)
- Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (PS4)
- The Unfinished Swan (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
- Race the Sun (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
- Murasaki Baby (PS Vita)
- Hohokum (PS4, PS3, PS Vita)
Guacamelee’s upgrade is an obvious highlight along with a few indie Sony titles that are certainly worth a look, namely Murasaki Baby on the Vita and the rather beautiful Unfinished Swan. I’ll be honest, I’d never heard of Ether One (released a year ago on PC), but it looks interesting enough. Take a look at the trailer below:
Naturally, the new arrivals mean a few games will be leaving PS+ on May 6th. So, be sure to download these titles or add them to your collection by then:
- Tower of Guns
- Never Alone
- Dishonored
- Aaru’s Awakening
- Killzone Mercenary
- MonsterBag
What do you make of the new titles? Lots to enjoy, or a little ‘indie’ for your liking? We’ve certainly noticed a distinct lack of bigger titles in recent months. But then again, don’t listen to me. I’m annoyed that Knack isn’t there.
