To anyone thinking of picking up God of War: Ascension to get their hands on the exclusive The Last of Us demo we’d advise some caution. It would seem that the demo isn’t quite ready. There’s a button to access the demo from God of War’s main menu, but it takes you to a countdown page counting down to May 31st.

Seeing as the demo is advertised on the front cover of the box we think this is a bit cheeky as a demo to this hotly-anticipated game is a very attractive incentive to buy God of War: Ascension early at full price. Another concern is that the full game of The Last of Us is out June 14th, so what are the chances this ‘exclusive’ demo will be available to everyone on the PSN store a week later? Bad Sony!
