A new trailer for Diablo III on the PS4 has just landed showing off fresh gameplay for Blizzard’s upcoming action RPG. This is one of the first looks we’ve had for a while since its epic delay. The trailer doesn’t show any multiplayer action but we know that Diablo III will support 4-player co-op both online and locally.
The Game will be released as Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition as it will also come with the acclaimed DLC expansion, Reaper of Souls. It’s nice to get the DLC thrown in, but seeing as the game is still releasing at full price, will it be enough to tempt existing players of the PC, PS3 or 360 versions? One thing is for sure, the next-gen consoles are sorely lacking in the RPG and local multiplayer scenes, so this might be worth a look if you have a spare controller or three.
Take a look at the trailer and let us know if Diablo III has whetted your hack ‘n’ slash and looting appetite. Hmmm, all the shiny next-gen loot. Speaking of loot, this edition comes with a set of wearable Infernal Pauldrens (shoulder pads?) that provide bonuses to Vitality, Life per Second, Cooldown Reduction, and are primed for transmogrification. Diablo III Ultimate Evil edition launches on PS3, PS4, 360 and XO August 19th.
