We’re yet to see even a glimpse of the physical console for the PS4 yet and now we’re hearing that the design could still change for the DualShock 4 shown at Tuesday’s meeting. Speaking with Engadget, studio head Shuhei Yoshida said that the design of the DualShock 4 is only “near final” there may yet be some “small tweaks.”
So what small changes could we possibly see in the final design? Well, the L2/R2 buttons have already been improved over the PS3 pad, which saw fingers often slipping off them. The new ones could possibly benefit from a bit more curve though. To be honest we’d rather they just explain the point of the trackpad on the front.
Yoshida also said that journalists would probably have to wait until E3 to get their hands on the controller. Hmm, might be time to start checking those flight prices to LA.
What tweaks would you guys like to see on the DualShock 4? Also, any dream uses for the trackpad?
