About The No Sleep Gamer, Brendan Griffiths
I set up this Video Games website to display articles that I wrote for other gaming sites, University assignments and a student newspaper/magazine. At University I studied Film & Media with Journalism and was awarded a 2.1. I have had six years’ experience writing about games and in 2012 I was promoted to Weekend Editor of Dealspwn.com, the gaming branch of Hot UK Deals.
You’ll find that I write about anything games related, including: reviews, previews, features, news and interviews. I would like to write full-time for a living as I currently write around my day-job. If you’d like to offer any feedback, good or bad, feel free to message me or add a comment to the article.
I’ve been gaming since the Commodore 64 in the 80s, but I really fell in love with it thanks to the Sega Mega-Drive and Sonic. Nowadays, I’m all over anything PlayStation old or new. I arrived late to the Xbox 360 party but am enjoying catching up with some exclusive classics. Other formats I use include a Wii, PSP, Nexus 7 and a PS Vita.
I am experienced in attending UK and international press events. In 2009 I attended press launch parties in London on the behalf of Game Hub for EA’s Battlefield 1943 and Sony’s Video Store. I also attended the Eurogamer Leeds 2009 Expo. Recent years have seen me travel on the behalf of Dealspwn to events for Homefront, Red Faction: Armageddon, Enslaved, PlayStation Access, Xperia Play, PlayStation Beta Rooms, The Gadget Show Live 2011, MCM Comic Con Manchester 2011 and 2012, Eurogamer 2011, Gamescom 2011 and Gamescom 2102.

Print History
I wrote for UCLan’s (University of Central Lancashire) magazine PR1/Pluto, for three years (2006-2009), with my final year as the Deputy Editor of the Entertainment section.
I have completed a week of self-initiated work experience at PlayStation World (PSW) magazine in April 2008 which resulted in an article and screen-grabs of mine being published in Issue 107, May 2008.
I also had this article picked up and published in Issue 01 of Pakistan’s first ever gaming magazine, Game Mode in October 2009.
